Thanks Steve for explaining that. The code is different here to that used at Space.com, (where the entire url is put between the "Youtube" tags.) It may be that the method used here at LTL is better actually, because some videos don't embed at SDC (for example the ones with "feature-related" in the url.) As for the Steve Canyon video, it's a great little preview Jim, cheers!

I understand some of this can be kinda confusing to an individual - especially so with really lengthy urls mixed with caps/smalls alpha/numerics interspersed with signs - but there's an easy way to figure this out, its' never failed me, so I'm going to tell you what it is I look for and extract from the url, hopefully, you'll find it just as easy as well. Let's say a friend refers you to a video. You watch it, than you decide you'd like to use it in a post, (but) the url looks so gawdawful long you don't know where to begin or where it ends. . .Let's say it looks something like THIS: And you're looking at it thinking WTF? Heh. . .Don't be frightened. Here's the same url, the only difference is, I am going to outline in red with a placeholder showing you what part of the url you need to extract, placing between the proper Youtube brackets so you may display the video to others as a click-and-play: And the final result will look like this to the viewer:
